About Dyifani JSS
Dyifani JSS was established in 1985 in the Eastern Cape under Alfred Nzo East District at Isikelo administrative area. It was established under principalship of Mrs CBS Mlomo who was also a founder.There were no nearby schools, children had to cross a highway road (R61) going to Umdeni JSS and others crossed Dyifani river going to Ezizityaneni JSS , these were the only accessible schools.
There were too far to be attended by little children , grade R & 1 scholars . Due to these constraints parents around the community had a vision of building a school whose site was granted by chief Hlamandana.

Dyifani JSS is now thriving under the principalship of Mr GZ Mhlelembana
The school was then named after the nearby Dyifani River. It grew up very fast even though there were no physical structures, classes were conducted in church halls and in surrounding households.
In 1993 the transkei government built a block of 5 classroom and pit toilets of zinc structures for teachers and learners. The community members built two blocks of 8 classrooms which added up to the already existing structures and made up a sum of 13 classrooms.
In 1988 Mrs NV Nqwena took over from principalship until 2012 and in 2013 Mr GZ Mhlelembana relieved Mrs NV Nqwena who retired in 2012
The school is still doing well in the pillars of school management (finance , curriculum, physical structures , school policies , safety and security of the school, human resources, administration
